Capacity Building for Survey Agents – 2025 Session
From November 26 to December 5, 2025, an important training session dedicated to Survey Agents was held in YaoundΓ©, organized by the American NGO Enveristas, in partnership with the Center for Studies and Research for Development (CERD). The session aimed to equip participants with:

  • βœ”οΈ Modern data collection techniques
  • βœ”οΈ Survey methodologies on the living conditions of cocoa producers
  • βœ”οΈ Current good agricultural practices observed in Cameroon
  • βœ”οΈ The use of digital tools for reliable and transparent data collection
  • Through this initiative, Enveristas and CERD reaffirm their shared commitment to a more sustainable, fairer, and better-documented cocoa sector. This training not only strengthens the technical skills of surveyors, but also contributes to a better understanding of producers’ daily realities, in order to promote targeted and strategic development actions. πŸ“Έ A look back at a session rich in learning, field exchanges, and community engagement.     Cocoa Campaign 2025/2026: MINCOMMERCE launches the season in Mbankomo.
    The Minister of Commerce, Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Gabriel Mbairobe, launched the 2025/2026 cocoa campaign on Thursday, August 7, 2025, in Mbankomo, Mefou and Akono department. The event brought together many local personalities and elites, including Gaston Eloundou Essomba, Minister of Water and Energy, as a major local figure and Head of the Permanent Departmental Delegation of the Central Committee of the RDPC of Mefou-et-Akono.
